The starter has arrived but the best is yet to come. It might be, or seem to be, what you need right now, but be patient. More will follow, and it will be substantial. The next course shouldn’t take too long, and try to leave room for dessert.

This is the start of something and it could be amazing. Remember, when dining in fancy places be on your best behaviour and use the cutlery from the outside in.
