It’s not ready yet. Picked too soon, or not ripened the right way, this Spud could be a lost cause.

Right now, it should be thrown out. Green potatoes can cause more grief than is necessary. If it’s eaten it could be poisonous. Save yourself some trouble and put it in the composter.

However, if the Spud calls to you there is hope. Treat it right, keep it in the dark and revisit it in the future. Give it time to grow into what the world needs it to be.
